Personality:
A man born in the wrong time period and then some, Reinhardt proves that chivalry isn't dead. It's just 61 years old and unapologetically German. He lives his life by a specific code of honor, the Knightly Code of Chivalry. Justice and honor are his mainstays. Glory in battle and the defense of the weak and helpless is what he lives for. He styles himself as a knight in shining armor, an example of goodness and heroism in a world where these things are needed the most.

He has a huge larger than life personality. Everyone he meets is considered a friend until they prove otherwise. And those who are friends, he will protect with his very life. It killed him a little when he assumed one of his closest friends and allied had died and he gave the eulogy for it. Even in game, he doesn't take the deaths of other player characters well. Most of his in game battle shouts speak to his promises to protect others (and his abilities go right along with that), but when a close friend dies, he has a very specific shout and it is one of vengeance. It's pretty easy to assume that Reinhardt is very willing to take on the rule of the both the protector and the avenger as need be. In his comic, Dragon Slayer, he is seen going into a stronghold of thugs and killing every last one of them, single-handedly. He didn't hesitate and the deaths didn't bother him in the least, because they were "bad guys" in his very black and white moral world.

He is hugely confident and massively friendly and optimistic. This is partly due to the fact that he can also be a little too imaginative. In his comic, an enemy gang literally became lizard people and dragons in his mind to help give him the motivation he needed to fight hard after he had been beaten severely by them not hours earlier.

He boldly says exactly what is on his mind and does not shy away from letting his opinions be heard by one and all (and with the fact that he has no inside voice, this is pretty much a given). He has no trouble calling people out on their evils, going so far as to call a person a coward because they threatened the life of a child before beating the snot out of him while he could do nothing for fear she would be hurt. He also loudly and unashamedly announces his very terrible tastes in music because he has pretty much no shame.

He was one of the most vocal in support of Overwatch during it's heyday. After all, they kept peace in a war torn world and what could be a greater cause than this? But when Overwatch started to crumble around him, his morals and ethics made him one of it's harshest critics as well. He was basically the heart and conscious of the team, constantly reminding those around him that Overwatch was supposed to be a force of good, defending the helpless against the forces that would mean to harm them.

When he was forced to retire, he grew deeply despondent. He feared that his days of honor and glory were well behind him and he was forced to have to stand by and watch the one thing he dedicated his life and his youth fall to ruin. But instead of letting this destroy him, he made the decision to come out of retirement on his own. He put his armor back on and went back out into the world without Overwatch to support him. He vowed to fight for justice, just like the knight he claims to be. It doesn't help that he has a very very active imagination

He doesn't accept money or honors for this. Something as small as a child's smile is more than enough for him to know that he has done the right thing. He is the closest thing in the Overwatch world to a Lawful Good Paladin and like those knights, he simply refuses to quit. He is a desperately stubborn old man that utterly refuses to admit that he is indeed old and that his body isn't what it used to be. So long as he is alive and can move, he will keep fighting for what he thinks it right. As long as he can lift his hammer and see justice done, it doesn't matter to him if he lives or dies. His delusions of grandeur and glory make him a bit of a zealot with his black and white moral mentality. He still gets a huge thrill in fighting and in protecting people and he's going to keep doing it until either he or his armor literally falls to pieces, because that is what a hero does.

Abilities and Nerfs:
While not really classified as a classic "super strength" Reinhardt is a 7'4" mountain of pure muscle. Calling him a brick shithouse would be an understatement. His muscles have muscles. It's safe to say he could probably bench press three or four grown ass men without his armor. He's a soldier and trained as such as well as a "Crusader" which is basically a power armored knight. He's just stupid strong for a 61 year old geezer and his power armor makes him even stronger. The guy could probably bench press several normal-sized people even without the armor.

This brings us to the Crusader armor. It probably adds a good few more inches or so to his height, and acts as a power suit. It's metal and requires a lot of upkeep and he generally travels with a mechanic (he calls her his squire). It makes him that much stronger and it also enables him to project a barrier field. According to the wiki: "Reinhardt projects a broad, forward-facing energy barrier, which can absorb substantial damage before it is destroyed. Although Reinhardt can protect himself and his companions behind the barrier, he cannot attack while sustaining it." Basically, he's got a huge suit of armor and a huge shield to match.

Inventory:
- The clothing on his back
- His Crusader Armor (since he was sort of wearing that)

2. a huge massive bathtub, large enough for 3 people his size

4. GOOD GERMAN BEER ---> Changing to his Hammer
5, a position in the police force to protect the innocent (or hell, just a sexy police uniform in his size is good enough) - Granted in September
